TAMPA--GTE Financial's Jennifer Maxfield, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, has been named a 40 under 40 honoree for both the Tampa Bay Business Journal (TBBJ) and the Business Observer.
With over 700 nominations this year, Maxfield was chosen among the most competitive pool of honorees to date for both TBBJ and the Business Observer.
"The future is bright for Jennifer as her values will never alter for uncertain gains. She is steadfast and has old, trusted values with defined leadership attributes that are rarely found in today's executives," comments Brian Best, CEO of GTE Financial. "I feel she exceeds the attributes these publications look for with this honor."
As SVP Chief Strategy Officer, Maxfield's responsibilities include strategic planning, enterprise communication, member experience, facilities and corporate real estate, DEI, business continuity, community engagement, financial literacy, grants, student programs, and corporate philanthropy. Maxfield is heavily involved in community outreach and giving back within GTE, and as a representative of Junior Achievement, she has raised over $12,000 in 2022. Maxfield also serves on the Tampa Bay Chamber Board of Directors.
