TAMPA, Fla.– GTE Financial Credit Union has been awarded an Above and Beyond Silver level Aetna Workplace Well-being Award.

Our workplace well-being program focuses on education, support, engagement, and empowerment to make impactful life-style choices to support the well-being of our employees.”

The credit union said the award application and well-being program was honored based upon its superior performance in the following areas:
- Established well-being program that has been in place for more than seven years.
- Integrated well-being program with other programs and resources
- Received support from executive and middle management
- Provided a well-being budget with incentive rewards in place
- Offered worksite policies to support well-being
Employers complete the award application using data from their most recent 12-month program year. This includes information on their well-being strategy and design, communications and organizational engagement, and program implementation and evaluation.
