TAMPA--GTE Financial has been named one of America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces for Culture, Belonging & Community 2026 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.
“This recognition is incredibly meaningful because it reflects who we are at our core,” said Brian Best, president and CEO of GTE Financial. “At GTE, we are intentional about building a workplace where people feel valued, supported and inspired to make a difference not only for our members, but for one another and the communities we serve. Our employees are the heart of our culture, and this honor belongs to them.”
The ranking evaluates U.S. employers with more than 1,000 employees based on performance across metrics that matter most to women, minorities and diverse demographic groups. The evaluation included a large-scale national survey conducted between April and October 2025, capturing more than 2.7 million company reviews from over 179,000 employees. Additional data from three previous studies — encompassing more than 4.9 million reviews and 400,000 interviews — provided deeper insights.
“The modern workplace has evolved beyond just a place to earn a paycheck. Today's employees seek environments where they feel valued, heard and connected workplaces that prioritize culture, foster genuine belonging and build strong communities. Companies that embrace these principles don't just attract top talent; they create spaces where people from all walks of life can collaborate, innovate and thrive. We hope this ranking helps job seekers and professionals identify workplaces that combine personal connection with professional growth,” said Jennifer H. Cunningham, Editor-in-Chief of Newsweek.
