TAMPA–Jasiel Legón, senior vice president and chief talent officer at GTE Financial, nearly lost his mother to liver disease, before a transplant saved her life more than a decade ago. Now, each year in celebration of her recovery and Mother’s Day, GTE Financial raises money for LifeLink Foundation, Inc., the non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization. More than 5,800 Floridians and more than 115,000 Americans are currently waiting for organ transplants.
As a result of the organization’s May fundraising efforts, GTE Financial made a gift to the LifeLink Foundation in the amount of $12,015.
