TAMPA, Fla.– GTE Financial Credit Union has announced the recipient of one of its Business Ambassador Awards grants, which were created to acknowledge businesses that prioritize their employees and positively impact the Tampa Bay community.
The newest grant winner is Dr. Traci's House, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to enhancing communities' health, wellness, and sustainability through early childhood and art education, holistic healthcare services, advanced career opportunities, and comprehensive community development.
Dr. Traci's House prioritizes creating a caring culture for its employees. They offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a matching 401(k) and medical, dental, and vision plans with low premiums. The nonprofit takes feedback and suggestions from their employees seriously, listening to their concerns and fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement.

Additionally, Dr. Traci's House is highly active in the Tampa Bay community, conducting educational outreach programs and sponsoring initiatives such as school-wide book drives.
“They have received grants to support tutoring, mentoring, and community gardening to address food insecurity. Their recent initiatives include book collections, partnerships with local schools, and offering free chair yoga. They also secured a grant to provide free continuous glucose monitors for patients in need,” the credit union said.
