ROANOKE, Va.--Freedom First Credit Union has named Linda Johnson Chief Financial Officer
She currently serves as SVP Accounting/Finance to the CFO. She will take the place of retiring CFO Keith Rickoff.
“Keith has contributed to the Credit Union in numerous ways, and Freedom First’s growth can be attributed to his strategic planning and financial knowledge,” said Johnson. “We are intensely grateful for his leadership and commitment over the past fourteen years and wish him the best as he enjoys a well-deserved retirement.”
Johnson joined Freedom First in 2008 and has grown to lead Accounting, Finance and Analytics. She has over 22 years of combined financial management and leadership experience and is a member of the American Society of Women Accountants and the Institute of Managerial Accountants.
She serves as Finance Chair and member of the Strategic Planning Committee for the State Children’s Advocacy Center and on the board, Finance Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Executive Committee of Children’s Trust of Roanoke and the New River Valley. She is a Certified Credit Union Investment Professional and is currently preparing for the Fraud Examiners certification.
