FreeStar Financial Celebrates New Branch

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich.– FreeStar Financial Credit Union has opened a new branch here. In the first several days of a soft opening, members were welcomed, transactions completed, and the staff became familiar with the new operation.

The new state-of-the-art branch features the latest innovative banking technology and offers members more choices and convenience. The Shelby Township staff represent a combined 44 years of progressive member service focused on meeting member financial needs.

The 2,600-square-foot facility is a full-service financial institution with checking, savings, mortgages, personal and auto loans and mor, including four walk-up teller pods for personalized service. Two Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) in the drive-thru lanes provide members with an all-weather convenience to perform advanced self-service transactions or to video chat with credit union representatives during service hours. The branch also has a lounge area, coffee bar, and technology café providing members to access advanced self-services at the available computer workstations and iPads to perform banking transactions.

“We have expanded our convenience and award-winning service to include Shelby Township and look forward to welcoming new members to the FreeStar Financial family,” said Drema Isaac, President and CEO. “As members of the local community, this branch investment continues our commitment to be active participants in Shelby Township including our recently concluded $10,000 Charity Give-Away.  In the Spring, we will have a series of both formal and fun community events to welcome the entire Shelby Township area to experience FreeStar Financial.”
