CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – FreeStar Financial Credit Union has named Brian Fitzgibbon Real Estate Lending Manager, Alexandra Kolasa Branch Manager of the Shelby Township location, and Crystal Dennis Branch Manager of the St. Clair Shores location.
Fitzgibbon comes to FreeStar Financial with over 25 years of mortgage experience. In previous management roles, Fitzgibbon facilitated staff-wide customer service initiatives resulting in improved customer service and retention. He led teams as large as 88 individuals and has received national recognition for customer satisfaction.

Kolasa joins FreeStar Financial as the Branch Manager for the new Shelby Township location at 56350 Van Dyke Avenue, opening in October. Kolasa comes to FreeStar Financial with 13 years of bank management experience where she implemented outside sales strategies and was named a top performer for 13 branches. In addition to management, Kolasa has experience in employee training.
Dennis will be the Branch Manager of FreeStar Financial’s St. Clair Shores branch, set to open in 2020. With 18 years of banking leadership and management experience, she specializes in working closely with small business owners and is very active in the community. She facilitated financial literacy workshops to various nonprofit and community organizations and led an initiative to create the Detroit PAL youth baseball field.
