Fox Communities CU's Bike to the Beat Raises Funds

APPLETON, Wis.–Fox Communities Credit Union reported its “Bike to the Beat Track 4” had another successful year, with 3,612 riders, a 10% increase over last year.

Every penny from the bike registrations is donated to the Fox Cares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Fox Communities Credit Union. This year that was a whopping $56,287, which was almost $5,000 more than Bike to the Beat in 2018, the credit union said.

“Those funds help a lot of families in our communities, as the funds from the foundation help with putting food on the table, a roof over their head, and the arts in their heart,” FCCU said.

Bike to the Beat is a bike ride for all ages and abilities that took place at Woodward Radio Group, 2800 E. College Ave. Appleton, and St. Norbert’s College. There were original artists, refreshments, and food at all the stops and the my Team Triumph team a local non-profit that allows those with disabilities, who would normally not be able to participate in this type of event, have the opportunity to do so.
