Fort Knox FCU Breaks Ground on New Branch

RADCLIFF, Ky. – Fort Knox Federal Credit Union has broken ground for its newest branch at 803 Happy Valley Road in Glasgow. Weather permitting, the branch should be opening in Spring of 2020, FKFCU said. The credit union currently serves 105,000 members and lives its mission of improving members’ financial lives by offering lower-rate loans, fewer fees and better services.

The new branch will help more Kentuckians in the Glasgow area access the benefits of credit union membership. “We believe that much of the future success of our communities and children depends on financial education,” said Board Chair Reba Watson during the groundbreaking ceremony. “That’s why our credit union is committed to teaching the next generation how to become smart financial decision makers and offering the money-saving financial services Kentucky families need today.”
Added Fort Knox Federal President and CEO Ray Springsteen, “We work tirelessly to educate our communities on financial topics and improve the overall well-being of the hard-working Kentucky families we serve. We’re thrilled to be expanding into the Glasgow area and look forward to helping a growing number of Kentuckians do more.”

Several dignitaries also spoke at the groundbreaking event, including Michael Hale, Judge Executive; Harold Armstrong, Mayor; and Ernie Myers, Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce.
