OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.– Focus Federal Credit Union staff are donning casual attire this summer and raising money for several local charities. At the beginning of the summer season, employees were offered the chance to pay $2 per day or $25 per month to wear casual attire (jeans, capris, tennis shoes and flip flops) every day. Each staff member gets to choose which local organization they want to support. Some causes supported by casual days are the YWCA Battered Woman’s and Children’s Shelter, Pets and People, Infant Crisis Services and Skyline Food Resource Center.
To date, Focus Federal said team members have raised $975 for eight local organizations and are on track to donate over $3,000 by the end of the summer.
