SAN ANTONIO-- Firstmark Credit Union said it partnered with Santikos Entertainment for the second year in a row to celebrate teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Each year, the credit union recognizes educators for their dedication and commitment to helping students succeed.
To show teachers how much they are appreciated, Firstmark delivered movie tickets and complimentary popcorn and discounted bowling passes to the schools nearest a Firstmark financial center. Teachers also had a chance to win one of five private screenings for a party of 25.
“We are so thankful to every single teacher for making a difference in a child’s life,” said Marisa Perez-Diaz, executive director of the Firstmark Foundation. “Despite another unpredictable year, these extraordinary teachers continue to meet every challenge with compassion, strength and creativity. We thank our friends at Santikos Entertainment for helping us honor and celebrate these ‘reel stars’ who go above and beyond to care for all our students.”
