First New York Adds New Branch

ALBANY, N.Y.– First New York Federal Credit Union said it has added a new branch in North Greenbush and two new drive-through interactive teller machines (ITMs) in Ballston Spa and Rotterdam.

In January 2020, First New York announced the opening of the new full-service branch at 31 Jordan Road in North Greenbush.  This is the first location in Rensselaer County.  To celebrate this new state of the art branch, FNY said it will hold a ribbon cutting in collaboration with the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce on May 21st at 11am.

“Our new North Greenbush branch is designed to offer an experience that goes beyond everyday banking,“ said Lucy G. Halstead, First New York president and CEO. “It’s a comfortable environment where individuals and businesses can get financial services—from money management, to home and auto loans, and long-term financial planning. We’re excited to offer this new location to serve the North Greenbush community.”

The new location is designed to better accommodate First New York’s growing membership in Rensselaer County and features a full-service branch with two First New York ITMs, along with a knowledgeable branch staff to assist with accounts, loans, and financial health and well-being of each First New York member.
