JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – First Florida Credit Union has been named among the state’s top 10 best mid-sized companies to work for, according to Florida Trend’s 2023 Best Companies To Work For list.
Ranked eighth in the mid-size company category, the financial institution is one of only 100 companies in the state – and the only Jacksonville-based credit union – to earn the distinction this year.
Michelle Troha, senior vice president of marketing at First Florida Credit Union, said the CU is honored to have been recognized by the Florida Trend list for a 10th time – a feat she says is a testament to her organization’s ongoing commitment to its employees.

Best Companies To Work For In Florida is a survey managed by Florida Trend and Workforce Research Group and is endorsed by the HR Florida State Council. To compete for the distinction, businesses underwent an assessment based on their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The research group then identifies the finest employers in the region, all the while giving organizations valuable employee feedback.
