BURNSVILLE, Minn.– Firefly Credit Union helped raise funds for Burnsville High School DECA by hosting a lunch for staff at its corporate office where nearly 200 special burgers were purchased.
Earlier, Burnsville High School students partnered with local eatery Burger Jones to offer the Blaze burger. This unique burger had toppings that included peanut butter, jalapeño peppers, pepper jack cheese, and a fried egg. One dollar in proceeds from each Blaze burger benefitted BHS DECA.
“We are honored to help raise money for the Burnsville High School DECA students,” said Marty Kelly, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Firefly Credit Union. “It is rewarding to give back to a school that we work so closely with.”
