BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Firefly Credit Union employees are delivering meals to community members in need through Meals on Wheels.
Employees are volunteering the first Tuesday of each month through 2020.
“Volunteering for Meals on Wheels brings meals to seniors and others in need to ensure they receive the nourishment and human connection needed to support daily activities and independence,” the credit union said. “During the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, Firefly employees are proud to continue volunteering with Meals on Wheels to ensure that community members in need have on-going access to meals.”
“Meals on Wheels is an incredible organization that helps provide our community members the nutritional meals they need,” said President/CEO Dale Turner. “We are happy to volunteer with such an impactful organization, and will continue to do so throughout 2020.”
