BURNSVILLE, Minn.–Firefly Credit Union staff attended the second annual Illumie Awards at the Radisson Blu in Bloomington. The annual event serves as an all-staff collaboration and recognition event.
Throughout the day, Firefly employees participated in several teambuilding activities, including a scavenger hunt through the Mall of America, employee skits and the creation of tie blankets, which were donated to Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.
The Illumies took time to award staff members for their alignment with the credit union’s core values, years of service, and education and professional achievements. The event also announced the organization’s 2018 employee of the year, Firefly said.
“The Illumie Awards provide an opportunity for our entire organization to come together,” said Cole Hahn, SVP/chief administration officer at Firefly Credit Union. “The event lays the groundwork for the coming year as we take a look back on our combined accomplishments for the prior year.”
