BURNSVILLE, MInn.– Justin Jasperse’s hard work has paid off, according to Firefly Credit Union. Jasperse, a senior at Burnsville High School (BHS), has grown up in a family that often found itself in tight financial situations. Jasperse made a decision early in his life that he would work hard to find financial freedom for himself and his family. This determination has taken him further than most will ever go.
All while working part-time for Firefly’s BHS branch, Jasperse reached remarkable academic accomplishments including maintaining a 4.0 GPA, receiving a 35 on his ACT exam and being accepted into a scholarship program called QuestBridge.
It was this scholarship program that would change his life forever. Jasperse accepted a full ride scholarship to Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. A scholarship that is worth at least $300,000.
