INDIANAPOLIS –U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly was among those who addressed the Indiana league’s annual meeting. Donnelly, a long-time credit union member, expressed his support for credit unions.
Also at the Indiana league meeting, which corresponded with International Credit Union Day and its theme, “Local Service. Global Good,” shoes were collected for Samaritan’s Feet, an international organization that also distributes shoes to those in need in Indiana. This was the fifth consecutive year for the Indiana Convention to be a collection point for shoes and monetary donations; during that time span, the equivalent of more than 7,200 pairs of shoes have been collected.
