COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Ent Credit Union has been recognized for the second consecutive year by The Supreme Court of the State of Colorado at the Colorado Pro Bono Recognition Celebration 2019 in Denver for its “outstanding contribution and service” in providing “Access to Justice” as a Colorado Lawyer Trust Account Foundation (COLTAF) program participant.
Attorney’s use COLTAF accounts to hold client funds in trust. The pooled dividends earned help fund legal aid and pro bono programs, including domestic violence and other justice-related efforts to low-income Coloradans.
As a Prime Partner, Ent’s fee-free COLTAF checking account exceeds the basic eligibility requirements by paying “a premium rate of return” on COLTAF deposits: Ent said it pays a net yield of 75% of the Federal Funds Target Rate.
“We’re incredibly honored to receive this recognition. Ent’s participation in COLTAF exemplifies what we, as a credit union, are all about. As a community-minded organization, we’re proud to actively support nonprofit organizations that benefit the communities we serve,” said Paul Kirkbride, Ent’s Director of Business Banking.
