Ent CU Opens New Branch

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ent Credit Union has opened its latest freestanding service center at 4585 N. Nevada Ave., 80918, on the campus of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS).

The new full-service Ent location incorporates state-of-the-art technology to provide members with added convenience, including self-service safe boxes, the ability to instantly issue debit cards, teller pods with teller cash recyclers to facilitate faster cash dispensing to members and Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) in the center’s drive-up lanes.

In addition, Ent said the new facility incorporated a variety of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold features into its design and construction, including:

  • Use of renewable and recycled materials in the building’s construction, eliminating nearly 30% of construction waste to landfills as compared to other construction projects.
  • Maximized “daylighting” inside the building - with high performance glass for interior comfort, better views, and a reduction in the need for lighting related energy consumption.
  • High efficiency lighting fixtures for lower energy consumption.
  • Geothermal/Ground Source heating and cooling systems, designed to reduce HVAC related energy consumption.
  • And, solar units on the roof, reducing electrical energy consumption.

“While Ent has had a small service center on campus for several years, located inside UCCS’s University Center building, we’ve been looking forward to opening this second campus location,” said Matt Gendron, Ent’s chief engagement officer. “In this new freestanding building we can provide expanded financial services to students, faculty and the greater community who work and live near University Village.”
