COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Ent Credit Union, which is transitioning to the Wings Credit Union name, said it has awarded $300,000 in 2026 Youth Endowment Series (YES) Grants to 125 nonprofit organizations supporting children and teens across Colorado.
The grant recipients were selected from more than 280 applications and were recognized during a ceremony at Empower Field at Mile High. Former Denver Broncos cornerback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Champ Bailey, who serves as a Wings financial education ambassador, spoke during the event.
“YES Grants are about turning momentum into opportunity for young people,” Annie Snead, Ent’s vice president of community impact and executive director of the Wings Foundation, said in a statement. She noted the applications represented more than $3 million in requested funding, making selections increasingly competitive each year.
Now in its 27th year, the YES Grants program supports nonprofits focused on mentoring, mental health services, after-school programs, food security and outdoor experiences for youth. Since launching in 2000, the program has distributed more than $2.8 million in grants to more than 350 nonprofit organizations statewide, with this year’s recipients receiving awards ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
