MILWAUKIE, Ore.--The North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce has named Embold Credit Union CEO Aaron Goff the 2023 Joseph Krumm Humanitarian of the Year.
This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to community service and philanthropy, benefiting Clackamas County.
In 2023, Goff went above and beyond by plunging over 25 times within 25 hours in the Willamette River and emerged as the top fundraiser for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. His involvement inspired other credit union employees and vendors to support the Plunge, further raising funds and awareness for this important cause.
As the leader of Embold Credit Union, Goff has fostered a philanthropic culture and inspired others to contribute to our community. His commitment to improving the lives of others has motivated many within the organization to become more involved and engaged in community organizations including Project 48, the Clackamas Service Center, and Clackamas Volunteers in Medicine. "It is such an honor to receive this award for doing what is so close to my heart,” says Goff. “I’m thankful for the dedication of our team at Embold to improving lives in local communities—and grateful that we can come alongside other chamber partners to make a meaningful difference.”
