Elevations Foundation Elects Brown, Schupp and Gytis To its Board

BOULDER, Colo. – Elevations Foundation has elected Reverend Ken Brown, Sarah Schupp and Gytis Tuminas to its Board of Directors.

“We are honored to add these new Board members who demonstrate leadership and community involvement. The commitment that Ken, Sarah and Gytis have made will ensure that Elevations Foundation continues to provide scholarships for local students, grants for nonprofits and disaster assistance in times of need.” A recognized visionary pastor in large church settings for nearly three decades, Rev. Brown is the Senior Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver and previously served Broomfield UMC for 15 years. Rev. Brown is a second career pastor, previously serving as a marketing director for a real estate development company. He earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Earning his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School at Duke University, Rev. Brown is ordained for ministry in the United Methodist Church. He is highly respected for his effectiveness to establish networks and successful pastorates in North Carolina, Florida and Colorado. Rev. Brown has been an executive advisor to Hope House of Colorado, A Precious Child, and CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties. Theology. Schupp is the Vice President of Business Banking at Elevations Credit Union, drawing on more than 16 years of experience helping small businesses grow and unlock their potential. She started her career immediately after college as an entrepreneur, launching a platform that connected parents of high school students with more than 200 colleges across the country. Sarah was recognized as one of Inc. Magazine's Top Entrepreneurs and one of Denver Business Journal's Top Women Under 40. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado Boulder, and she serves on the University of Colorado Foundation Board of Trustees and the Chancellor's Advisory Board. 

As the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Elevations Credit Union, Tuminas manages business processes and regulatory responsibility with a focus on engagement, empowerment and financial performance. With over 13 years of credit union experience, he is responsible for purchase and sale decisions, and due diligence on the corporate investment portfolio. He also plays a critical role during the execution and communication of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts, and he helps ensure the organization meets expectations on net interest margin and interest rate risk. Tuminas holds his bachelor’s degree in business from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.
