ROCKVILLE, Md.–Educational Systems Federal Credit Union welcomed students from the Pathways Schools Young Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) for a recent branch tour and training session at the Credit Union's Brinkley Building.
During the visit, students took a tour of the Rockville Branch, and talked to employees in the accounting and marketing departments as well as the Contact Center. Each department offered insight on how the CU serves members.
Students also learned about creating and executing a marketing campaign, helping members with their financial needs through the Contact Center, and how ESFCU provides guidance for financial security. The Credit Union also presented each student with a certificate of completion for the training session.
"For us, it's an honor to Support Education," said Chris Conway, president/CEO of Educational Systems Federal Credit Union. "It gives us great pleasure to share how different positions across the Credit Union work together to help the education community achieve their financial goals and dreams. During the visit, students had the opportunity to ask questions and gain first-hand knowledge about future career options."
