BEAUMONT, Texas–Education First FCU has appointed of Urjit Patel Chief Operations Officer.
Patel comes to Education First with an extensive and diverse experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Urjit served as Executive Vice President at Axiom Bank in Central Florida where he was responsible for guiding the strategic direction and growth of their retail, marketing, and operational divisions.
Prior to that he led Smart Financial Credit Union in Houston, Texas as their Chief Experience Officer, leading all member experience delivery channels. In addition, he spent 16 years at Fairwinds Credit Union in various management roles helping to grow the organization.
