BEAUMONT, Texas– Education First Federal Credit Union has announced its scholarship recipients for the Class of 2020.
Each year, representatives from Education First personally present students from 36 high schools in Southeast Texas with their $1,0000 scholarships.
Due to COVID-19 those ceremonies were cancelled. In lieu of in-person presentations EFFCU has put together a video honoring this year’s scholarship recipients that can be viewed on its website, www.EducationFirstFCU.org. Since 1999, the credit union has awarded more than $551,000 in scholarships.
