East Texas Professional CU Breaks Ground on New HQ

LONGVIEW, Texas–East Texas Professional Credit Union has broken ground on a new headquarters project that is being led by NewGround.

The new two-story 45,000-square-foot administrative building includes plans for a second phased building and parking expansion and will feature ample training rooms for financial service representatives and tellers, as well as a large 136-seat employee break room that will host community bingo nights and other events and meetings. The second floor will include an 18-seat executive board table with side seating for guests and management team members, along with an executive dining room, NewGround said.

More features will include a covered patio off the breakroom that offer additional outdoor seating and barbeque pits, and a dedicated parking space designed for the credit union’s chuck wagon to be used for social and community events.

NewGround said it will provide architecture, interior design, furniture, artwork, environmental graphics, audio/video digital signage, and construction management services for the facility.

“We are so excited to bring East Texas Professional Credit Union’s new headquarters to life,” said NewGround President and CEO Kevin Blair. “We currently have 12 headquarters projects in design and under construction, and our team is really hitting the ground running to help deliver these stunning facilities.”

East Texas Professional Credit Union’s new headquarters is anticipated to be complete by spring 2022.
