IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – For the third straight year, East Idaho Credit Union has placed in the top three of the Best Places to Work in Idaho, taking second place in the large employers category.
“We are so happy to be recognized statewide as one of the best places to work,” said Dan Thurman, East Idaho Credit Union’s president and CEO. “It’s amazing to see the culture we’ve built and the welcoming environment we’ve developed for our employees.”
This marks the sixth straight year East Idaho Credit Union has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Idaho, after placing first in 2018 and 2019, fourth in 2017 and receiving honorable mention honors in 2015 and 2016.
More than just table tennis, dart boards and free coffee for employees, East Idaho Credit Union said it has built a winning culture for its 121 employees that translates to outstanding service for their 33,000 members.
“We have Nerf wars, too,” jokes Thurman. “In all seriousness, we focus a lot on employee engagement and doing the right thing for them and our members. We are truly honored to be recognized again this year.”
Honorees of the Best Places to Work in Idaho are determined by their employee satisfaction and feedback. Honorees are chosen in each of the five size categories based on workforce size: micro (10 – 19 employees), small (20 – 49), medium (50 – 99), large (100-249), and macro (250 and more).
