IDAHO FALLS, Idaho–The East Idaho Credit Union Charitable Foundation has announced the winners of its scholarship program.
East Idaho Credit Union Charitable Foundation's scholarship program aims to recognize and support outstanding students who have exhibited remarkable dedication to their education and community, the credit unions said.
The winners include:
- Sandy D Artreches Gonzales: An entrepreneur that persevered through life’s obstacles.
- Wyatt Nelson: A servant in his community that looks for the good in every experience.
- Tiffany Russell: A student-athlete who perseveres even through injuries.
- Alison Murri: A student-athlete that found fulfillment in serving her community.
- Sage Bitter: A musician who served the youth of her community.
- Natalia Golicova: A mentor in her community for her disabled peers.
- Lindsey Simmons: A servant in her community that found she can grow from any mistakes.
- Shayla Cluff: A student-athlete who found a way to lead positively on and off the rink.
- Charles Medema: A beekeeper that pushed forward to overcome failure.
- Joseph A Cook: A firefighter looking to help first responders overcome mental health issues.
“These extraordinary young minds have not only excelled academically but have also demonstrated a strong commitment to making a positive impact on society. Through their exceptional achievements and demonstrated leadership, they have already begun to carve a path toward a brighter and more inclusive future.
In addition to their academic excellence, each awardee has been actively involved in various community-service initiatives, showing an unwavering commitment to helping others. Their dedication to creating positive change aligns perfectly with the values and mission of East Idaho Credit Union Foundation,” the credit union said.
