ECU Joins With Habitat for "Second House that Ent Built"

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ent Federal Credit Union employees recently kicked off a spring fundraising and construction campaign with Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity in support of “The Second House that Ent Built.”

Ent employees have set a goal of raising $30,000 and volunteering 3,200 hours over the next two months in support of this effort. Planned fundraising activities include bake sales, “jeans day Fridays” at Ent locations and online employee auctions – in addition to inviting member donations.

New this year, fundraising team captains from each credit union location and department painted “Home Sweet Home” canvases, one of which is on display at each Ent Service Center. These canvases will be auctioned off to staff at the end of the campaign to generate an additional donation to Habitat.

This year’s home is being built in the Country Living development in Fountain, Colorado. When completed, the development will contain 34 Habitat homes.
