E-nough: Ent Recycles 60,000 Pounds of Electronics

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Ent Federal Credit Union here took in more than 60,000 pounds in used and unwanted electronics as part of a two-day electronics recycling event that it hosted. The amount collected was more than six times that collected at previous recycling events.

The credit union joined with the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado and BlueStar Recyclers, along with co-sponsors Navakai, Colorado Springs Utilities and Fox 21 TV, in the recycling effort. Organizers said 711 cars passed through the drop-off lanes during the six hours of the event.
