DUBUQUE, Iowa— For the second time in just a month, Forbes has recognized Dupaco Community Credit Union. In this case, Dupaco was named as a top small employer in America.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to assess nearly 10,000 businesses nationwide. These assessment tools included:
- “Anonymous surveys of employees using both targeted access panels as well as open participation from the public
- Tracking of job-related websites to gauge employer reputation, engagement, retention, benefits and more
- Social listening text analysis of news websites and blogs as well as platforms such as Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter and YouTube to assess the company’s relationship with its employees.”
This is the first time Forbes completed a ranking of top smaller employers in America. Of the 300 companies recognized, Dupaco ranked #61 overall and #11 within the banking and financial industry category.
“As a member-owned cooperative, Dupaco’s mission is to improve each member’s financial position,” said CEO Joe Hearn. “This recognition is successfully achieved by a team of passionate and engaged employees who work together and carry out Dupaco’s mission to help members build a life worth loving.”
