DUBUQUE, Iowa – Dupaco Community Credit Union has been named a recipient of the prestigious 2024 Top Workplaces USA award, featured in USA TODAY.
“This achievement underscores the organization’s dedication to fostering a people-first workplace culture and prioritizing the employee experience,” Dupaco Community CU said.
Of the more than 42,000 invited organizations, Dupaco said it secured the award based solely on an employee engagement survey administered by Energage, the HR technology and research firm behind the Top Workplaces program. Dupaco was one of more than 300 organizations surveyed within the financial cooperative’s employee size (500-999) throughout different industries within the United States to receive this recognition.
Survey results were evaluated by comparing responses to research-based statements that predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
"As a member-owned cooperative, Dupaco's mission is to help members build a life worth loving," said Dupaco President and CEO Joe Hearn. "This remains our focus, and we're achieving it through the dedication of our passionate and engaged employees. Their feedback is invaluable, and we're committed to continuous improvement. We're honored to have been recognized as a Top Workplace USA in 2024."
The anonymous survey to employees measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, organization’s leadership and connection to name a few.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
Dupaco Community was also recently ranked No. 3 Iowa Top Workplace by the Des Moines Register in the large employer category for 2023. Dupaco also garnered a Top Workplaces USA award in 2022 and Iowa “Top Workplace” recognition each year that it has participated in the Des Moines Register survey: 2023, 2021, 2019, 2016, and 2011.
