READING, Penn.–Diamond Credit Union worked with the Reading Royals hockey organization to help 13 local charities. For the second consecutive year, Diamond held the “Shoot for CommYOUNITY” challenge during Saturday home games at the Royals' arena. The featured charity organizations had representatives shoot the puck for a chance to win up to $1,000 with a minimum donation of $100. In total the 13 organizations won $2,950.

One of the most notable Saturday events was the February 13, Pink in the Rink night, featuring the American Cancer Society as the participating “Shoot For CommYOUNITY” charity organization.
