WASHINGTON–Democracy Federal Credit Union has introduced an alternative student loan program that it says helps students fill the funding gaps that federal aid can leave behind. Unlike other student lending products, Democracy FCU said its Student Choice private loan solution offers significantly lower rates, zero origination fees and more flexible repayment terms.
