DOVER, Del.–Del-One FCU was nominated for the Excellence in Business Awards Large Employer of the Year through the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC).
As part of the nomination, Chief Information Officer Marc Kidwell met with Gov. John Carney in the governor’s office in Legislative Hall in Dover. Nominees were able to introduce themselves and talk about their respective businesses. Other City of Dover and State of Delaware representatives were also in attendance.
“It was great meeting with Governor Carney and representatives from city and county government to celebrate the contribution that local businesses make to Delaware’s economy,” Kidwell said. “The governor encouraged us to continue creating jobs and serving our communities.”
Award nominees in attendance included those for Small Business of Year and Young Professional of the Year, in addition to the other nominees for Large Employer of the Year. Winners will be announced at the CDCC’s Awards for Excellence Celebration in June.
