Del Norte Credit Union Supporting Lowrider Charitable Raffle to Benefit Española YMCA Teen Center

SANTE FE, N.M. – Del Norte Credit Union and the Española YMCA Teen Center announced their joint effort in hosting a Lowrider Charitable Raffle to support youth in Española.

From now until the Española Centennial Celebration on September 28, people across the state can purchase raffle tickets for $50 online or at any Del Norte Credit Union branch to win a 1963 Chevy Impala. All proceeds will go directly to the Española YMCA Teen Center to support their efforts of providing educational programs, recreational activities, and a safe environment for teens across Española and other surrounding communities.

The vehicle recently underwent extensive updates at the Good Times Car Club, including body work and a new paint job. Del Norte Credit Union has chronicled the car’s exciting transformation on their social media and website.  

Founded in 1954, Del Norte Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative focused on improving lives and strengthening communities across New Mexico. As their branch network and service offerings continue to experience rapid growth, their focus continually remains on giving back to the communities they serve. According to John Molenda, President and CEO, the Lowrider Charitable Raffle aligns perfectly with their community efforts.

Founded in 2007, the mission of the Española YMCA Teen Center is to build individual, family, and community strength by focusing on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. They provide positive self-esteem programs, recreational opportunities, and a safe and caring environment for youth aged 12 -19 years old.
