DAYTON, Ohio-–DayMet Credit Union presented a 0% auto loan to one lucky member through its “Love My Loan” sweepstakes. Terria Ford was the recipient of the grand prize.
“It was very exciting when Ms. Ford revealed the grand prize on her Love My Loan scratch-off ticket,” said Beth Smith, Consumer Loan Manager at DayMet, “With her 0% loan we have saved her thousands of dollars in interest over the life of the car loan.”
DayMet Credit Union offered Love My Loan Sweepstakes scratch off tickets to everyone opening a consumer loan with the credit union during the promotional period. Other prizes offered included DayMet gear, free car detailing, 1% loan discounts, and 2% loan discounts.
The promotion was highlighted among current members and the community through a variety of avenues. DayMet saw its highest quantity of consumer loan applications of 2020 during the Love My Loan Sweepstakes.
“We wanted to come up with a fun way to engage our members and make the loan process a bit more exciting,” said VP-Marketing Jaime Crooks. “Our Love My Loan Sweepstakes scratch-off did just that. Many of our members were very willing to have their photo taken so we could share the fun on our social media channels.”
