SYLVESTER, Ga.–DOCO Credit Union hosted the 2016 ninth Annual Quail Hunt benefitting the Georgia CUPAC/CULAC at the Southern Woods Plantation here. More than 60 hunters participated in the Friday hunt, as well as the Saturday morning and afternoon hunts.
Highlights of the weekend included Warren Butler winning first place in the trap shoot with Bobby Youngblood (Robert’s son) achieving second place.
Richard Ellis’ trap shoot performance earned him the infamous “I shot like crap” award. The winner of the Franchi Instinct SL 20 gauge shotgun raffle, sponsored by DOCO, was Robert Youngblood.
William Gautier Law donated a Bass Pro Gift card, which was won by Jim Kidd. Other door prizes were donated by Southern Woods Plantation, a cooler to Phil Redmond and a shirt to Alton Darby.
All proceeds from the DOCO Quail Hunt event benefit the Georgia CUPAC/CULAC.
