DDJ Myers Awards 6 Scholarships

PHOENIX–DDJ Myers and the Myers Family Foundation have awarded more than $6,000 in scholarships to six deserving students. Requiring participation in an often-under-appreciated extra-curricular activity while in high school adds a unique twist to this award, DDJ Myers said.

Teachers and coaches nominated students who maintained a 3.0 or better GPA while also participating in cheerleading, swimming, track and field, band or strings during at least three years of high school.

The 2021 recipients of the scholarship are Paige Beracy, Jewliana Gomez, Clayton Kinkel, Samuel Bijan Levinson, Monica C. Rendon and Daniel York.

"These kids show fierce dedication and commitment to both their sport and their studies," said DDJ Myers CEO Deedee Myers. "They show up to 6 am practices, stay late for meets and give up their Saturdays for competitions and performances. Their years of hard work will pay off beyond their high school careers, and we are honored to invest in their continued success."
