McKINNEY, Texas– Credit Union of Texas has opened a new branch here, its 13thbranch location.Jerod Schneider, branch manager, will have a staff of nine working with him when fully staffed.
“I’ve been a McKinney resident for 20 years, and have seen first-hand the tremendous growth in the area,” said President and CEO Eric Pointer. “When we made the strategic decision to move our footprint north, McKinney was a natural choice for our third Collin County location. We are committed to providing McKinney residents with the best financial products and services to help them reach their financial goals and we look forward to investing in the community as it continues to grow.”
The branch will be the first at CUTX to feature a new Lobby Tracker system – a digital kiosk sign-in system – and a Tech Bar with self-service tools to make the member experience more convenient and enjoyable.
“CUTX’s Lobby Tracker is designed to streamline the check-in process in our branches,” Pointer explained. “It provides check-in options much like a phone system, which enable our members to reach the appropriate person more quickly. Lobby Tracker also lets members book a member service appointment that fits with their schedule. In the future, members will be able to make appointments from a mobile device and check-in before they arrive at the branch.
“The new Tech Bar assists members with product research through our newly enhanced website. Branch visitors can research cars they may wish to purchase, calculate payments, and sign up for educational emails on topics such as home equity, mortgages, credit building and saving.”
