SAN FRANCISCO--The Credit Union Women's Leadership Alliance (CUWLA) has appointed Corlinda Wooden director of strategy and engagement.
The role was created to ensure alignment between CUWLA’s focus on fostering a vibrant network of empowered female leaders, and its commitment to sustainable growth, increased visibility, and systemic impact across the credit union movement.
“This is an important step for CUWLA,” said Executive Director, Linda White. “Yes, there are other initiatives for smaller and growing credit unions, but CUWLA is the only professional community focused on supporting the women CEOs who primarily lead those organizations—representing around 50 percent of all credit union CEOs in the country.
“Corlinda’s appointment will only strengthen our ability to provide a safe space for those women to connect, collaborate, and champion positive change for the system as a whole, and the millions of members we serve.”
