Credit Union ONE Staff Help Plant Trees; Raises Funds For Hospital

DETROIT–A team from Credit Union ONE volunteered here at Hantz Farms, replanting 70 trees, mulching, and cleaning up debris. The day was part of a team building effort by the credit union.

Separately, Credit Union ONE (CU ONE) was a proud sponsor of the Walk for Miracles benefiting Beaumont Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network, hosted at the Detroit Zoo.

CU ONE employees and their friends and families participated in the fundraising walk, which raised a total of more than $60,000 and drew a crowd of more than 1,000 in support of pediatric programs and services for local children and their families.

“It’s both heart-warming and humbling to hear the experiences of so many local families who have been impacted by the work of Beaumont’s Children’s Hospital,” said John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations for CUONE, “Our credit union is honored to be able to participate in events, like the Walk for Miracles, that support the hospital and all of the good they do within our community.”
