MILWAUKEE, Wis. --Corporate Central and the Wisconsin Credit Union League hosted Credit Union Day at the Ballpark, a fundraising event that raised over $38,000 for The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation and The National Credit Union Foundation.
The collaborative event brought over 330 credit union members, families, friends, employees, and supporters together as the Milwaukee Brewers took on the Cincinnati Reds at American Family Field in Milwaukee, the organizations said.
Credit union fans gathered at the tailgate party preceding the game to network, eat, drink, and have an all-around good time before Katie and Mike Gerhartz of Community First Credit Union threw the first pitch. The group also enjoyed special recognition from the Brewers throughout the game.
The event was made possible by the generous sponsorships of TruStage, FHLBank Chicago, LaMacchia Group, OpenLending and REACH Business Lenders, LLC.
