AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Cornerstone Community Financial has named Mark Evenson vice president of retail services.
In his new role, Evenson is responsible for overseeing CCF’s network of retail branches and branch management, as well as leading the credit union’s sales strategies and service experience. He brings to his role more than 15 years of experience in financial management, accounting, compliance, operations management and business development. “Our retail branches are the face of our organization to our members and the community, and we are thrilled to now have Mark’s expertise in managing, mentoring and motivating branch leadership as part of our executive team resources,” said CCF President and CEO Heidi Kassab. “We are excited about the ideas and energy he brings to further developing our dynamic retail services team, which will ensure the highest quality of membership experiences.” Evenson, who is a CUES-certified senior executive and CUNA-certified credit union financial counselor, has worked in the financial services industry since 2004, most recently serving as manager of finance, administration and compliance for AMDG Financial in Plymouth, Mich. “Having the opportunity to lead such a service-focused team at CCF has been amazing so far,” said Evenson. “I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together moving forward.”
