VANCOUVER, Wash. ‐ Columbia Credit Union has welcomed Spencer French as a Registered Representative in the Wealth Management Department. As an Investment Advisor Representative for Cetera Advisor Networks, French will assist members with financial planning, investment and retirement strategies, education funding options, and insurance services. He will serve members at the Fourth Plain branch and by appointment at the Orchards and Salmon Creek branches.

With a successful sales career spanning more than 20 years, French most recently served as a financial advisor for various national investment firms where he held private banking duties, led customer service programs, and received recognition for increased profitability and performance. Prior to his financial industry experience, he managed Spanish language marketing initiatives for television and radio at the regional and national levels. He also co‐founded a bilingual Internet business marketplace in three Hispanic markets in California.
French is Series 7, 66, 6 and 63 securities registered and insurance licensed in Washington, Oregon and California. He holds an MBA from Marylhurst University and a bachelor’s degree from Reed College. He is fluent in Spanish and has supported a variety of nonprofit organizations and causes including the American Cancer Society and the Latino Home Initiative.
