VANCOUVER, Wash.–Columbia Credit Union presented donations to three veterans groups—Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC), Home with Heroes and Returning Veterans Project—with funds generated from the credit union’s Veterans Appreciation Loan Promotion. A total of $30,600 was raised through the campaign, which was split evenly between the three organizations, $10,200 each.
During the loan promotion—which ran from Oct. 1 through Veterans Day, Nov. 11—Columbia CU donated $100 for every qualifying loan taken out on a new or used car, truck, boat, motorcycle, RV, snowmobile or ATV. In total, 306 loans qualified for donations.
In the five years that Columbia Credit Union has run the Veterans Appreciation Loan Promotion, a total of $102,100 has been donated to local veterans groups.

Columbia Credit Union is humbled and honored to support veterans and their families through these vital local organizations.”
