VANCOUVER, Wash. – Columbia Credit Union is proud to welcome Marc Timm as senior vice president and chief lending officer. In this position, Timm administers and oversees the credit union’s entire loan portfolio, including consumer, business and mortgage loans.
Timm has more than 25 years of banking experience and most recently served as an executive for Umpqua Private Bank. Prior to that, he was senior vice president and commercial bank regional director for Umpqua Bank. During his career, he held senior vice president positions at Bay Bank, Bank of the West and Wells Fargo Bank. Timm has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii. He also attended Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and Northwest Intermediate Commercial Lending School at the University of Portland.
Timm is a resident of Portland, Oregon and is active in the community. He has board member experience with several local non-profit organizations including Willamette West Habitat for Humanity, Columbia River Economic Development Council, Tuality Community Hospital Foundation, Southridge Youth Football Association and College of Emergency Services. He is a trustee and former board chair for Washington County Museum and Historical Society and completed the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce's Hillsboro Leadership program. He has also served as a bank representative for Network of Affordable Housing.
