Columbia CU Awards $10,000 Grant

VANCOUVER, Wash.- Columbia Credit Union has awarded Innovative Services NW a $10,000 grant for technology improvements.

From the $10,000 grant, $6,500 will go toward updating Innovative Services NW’s billing and scheduling software, primarily used by the Pediatric Therapy program. The additional $3,500 will complete the $107,300 the organization needs to purchase and implement new software and hardware upgrades for its accounting, human resources and fixed asset system. These technology upgrades will allow Innovative Services NW’s programs to better serve even more children, adults and families in need in the community.

“Innovative Services NW does great work that benefits the health of our community,” said Columbia Credit Union President and CEO Steve Kenny. “We’re pleased to be able to provide them with technology improvement assistance to help them succeed as they continue to grow.”

Innovative Services NW is a Vancouver-based nonprofit that offers a continuum of services including early learning, child care, and pediatric therapy for children; employment training and job support for teens and adults; intervention, education and support for foster youth and families; and adult day health care for senior citizens and adults who require daytime assistance.
